Please find below description of works:
We aim to complete your installation within one day. Around 90% of installations will be completed in this time but we have to allow two days as if any snags are hit on your job our the job the day before then this will make the installation run into two days!
Please move any ornaments or furniture out of the room, for large items that cannot be removed please move these as far away from the fireplace as possible (if you are able to) This will help us to maintain a clean working space at all time, we will sheet out with tarpaulins and dust sheets to protect any furniture and flooring from dust.
The chimney breast will be opened up to its original size only, we can not open it any wider as these walls are load baring. We never know how big this will be until we have removed any existing materials used to brick it up on the day of installation.
All stove dimensions are listed for each stove choice on the offer page of our website. Please make sure you have read these dimensions and are happy with the size chosen.
Please note all stoves selected are subject to availability. We order the stoves for each job around three weeks before installation date. On rare occasions the stove manufacturer may not have the selected stove in stock, if this does happen we will contact you to discuss options.
An oak beam is £150.00 extra. Each beam is 1200mm in length, 200mm height and 125mm thick. Oak beams are natural products are may move, twist, crack as the weather and humidity changes. Any movement in the beam is not a defect in the beam and adds to the character of it. Once installed we do not accept any liability for any movement in the beam!
Please Note: We do not remove any rubbish/rubble that may come out from the job. We will neatly bag and stack it to one side.
We will message you a two weeks prior to your installation to arrange the time we will arrive.
We do not take any form of payment until work is completed and you are happy with the work.
Works must be approved and payment made via Bank Transfer or Cash before our engineers leave on the day.
Please, if you can not provide payment on the same day that the installation is completed, let us know and we can cancel your installation.
Natural stones and Slate are products of the nature. Therefore, variations in colour, pattern, texture and veining must be accepted. These differences and variations in stone should be considered as the beauty of natural stone instead of flaws.
Purchaser acknowledges that natural stones vary in colour, pattern, and texture. The actual stone used may differ from the sample or picture(s) shown.
